Mangonel

Yesterday we fired  marsh mellows with our Mangonels. Our  groups one went 1 metre. The furthest went 10 metres!!! Ours was made out of a spoon and two blocks of wood & glue.

 

A&P show

On Friday we made fruit and veg creations.  Mine was some minions :)  They were made out of bananas &cucumbers with seeds fore eyes. I won a certificate for my decorated biscuit.  I used some jelly beans.

Dear Board of Trustees,

I am unsure  if  we should have Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) at Nelson Central School.  BYOD is when you bring tablets, Iphones Ipods etc to school to help you learn.

One reason is that it hurts your head  but  its fun for the kids. For example you can play Study Ladder and Minecraft on devices.

I believe we shouldn’t have BYOD because some people don't have enough money to buy a device. It would be unfair for some people who didn't have them

I am unsure about BYOD at Nelson Central School because it helps you learn but it’s bad for the brain.   It’s fun for the kids and helps you learn and read. You can build anything on minecraft like a rocket or a village.

I am unsure if we should have BYOD for Nelson Central School.  It will cost a lot of money, $4000,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's a lot of money.!!
